Plomi Community terms and conditions

Version dated · 2026-09-13.3

Terms for the Plomi Community development pilot. Joining is optional: you can use your personal place memory and save private visits without joining.

Your public profile

Choose the name you want the community to see. Do not use your email, impersonate anyone or publish other people’s personal information without permission. Your account email is not shown in visits.

What you share

We only publish a visit when you choose to save and share. Your public name, place, visit date, story, rating and photos from that visit become visible to other people on Plomi. They may appear on the place page, as its cover photo and in the Plomi rating. Joining does not make your personal notes, lists or other private visits public.

Photos and rights

Only share text and photos you have the right to publish, with permission from identifiable people where required. You keep your rights to your content and allow Plomi to host and display it in the community while you keep it shared. Do not publish illegal content, threats, harassment, discrimination, misleading advertising or information that exposes other people.

Change or stop sharing

You can edit a visit, make it private or delete it. Once the server confirms the change, the community can no longer access it or its photos through that visit. Copies already saved by other people cannot be recalled. Deleting your account deletes its data and visits on the server.

Versions and acceptance

We record the version and content of the terms you accepted, the language and the acceptance date and time in your account. If the terms change, you need to accept the new version before publishing or updating shared visits. Declining keeps private use available and does not publish earlier visits. Previously published content keeps your chosen visibility until you change it.

Pilot scope

These terms cover the local development pilot. The operator’s identity and contact details, reporting channel and final legal policies must be defined before opening the community to the public.

Plomis area

Current Plomi Community membership lets you view your Plomis and rankings. Scanning an invoice in Plomis does not automatically save a place or create or publish a visit. Each complete euro on an invoice equals one Plomi: we always round down per invoice (€12.90 gives 12 Plomis; two such invoices give 24). We preserve the original fiscal amount including cents. Only confirmed, uncancelled contributions count; pending amounts appear separately. There are no prizes, redemptions, cash or purchasable currency.

Optional ranking participation

Appearing in rankings requires a separate choice, initially off. Enabling it allows members to see your public name and eligible past and future points, and includes those points in place totals. Points show the sum of whole euros per invoice and may indicate an approximate aggregate value, without revealing the exact fiscal amount. Other people’s documents are accepted: points do not prove physical presence, unique visitors, place quality or your personal spending.

Points privacy

Rankings do not reveal documents, tax numbers, individual invoice amounts, private dates, personal lists or links between a person and the places they contributed to. Turning participation off removes you from both rankings once the server confirms, while keeping your balance and history private. Outdated terms suspend eligibility until renewal. Deleting your account removes participation and documents; only opaque cryptographic digests without an owner, value or date remain to prevent the same invoice being used in another account.

Dates and corrections

Monthly rankings use the invoice’s calendar month, with the current month determined in mainland Portugal. Late approvals count in the document’s month; future documents only count from their date. Rejections, corrections and cancellations may change totals. Sharing a visit still requires its own explicit action and never follows from membership or points.
